Miley Cyrus Makes Liam Hemsworth ‘Really Happy’

By Jocelyn Vena Chris Hemsworth in Details magazine Photo: Details When Miley Cyrus met her “Last Song” co-star Liam Hemsworth back in 2009, it seemed that the chemistry between the pair didn't translate well to the moviegoing public. But the couple is still together in real life, and Details magazine cover boy and “Hunger Games” star Hemsworth opened up to the mag about their relationship. “What happened happened, and we've been together two and a half years,” the Aussie star said. “She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you're filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you're not human if you don't feel something.” From there, the twosome embarked on a well-publicized love affair, and as comfortable as he feels with his superstar lady love, he feels equally welcomed by her family. “[Billy Ray] is very spiritual. He's just one of the nicest guys. Very accommodating. I've listened to his music since we got together. It's awesome,” he said, adding that he had some Nashville-related customs and foods he had to get used to while hanging with the Cyrus clan. “I'd never heard of country-fried steak before. It's great! I love fried food.” Former Disney queen Cyrus has always courted controversy. Back in November the saucy 19-year-old told a room of her friends, “You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake — you know you smoke way too much f—in' weed,” at her birthday party. It was a moment that made for some spicy headlines. And a moment that Hemsworth defends. “She's in a room full of her best friends. And you have one person who comes in there and videos it,” he said. “The poor girl can't have one night where she can feel safe in her own world. ‘Punk’d’ Taps Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus For Comeback

MTV’s legendary hidden-camera show will re-launch with rotating cast of guest hosts on March 29 at 10 p.m. ET. By Gil Kaufman “Punk'd” Logo Photo: MTV One of MTV's most beloved series, “Punk'd,” is gearing up for a fresh round of hidden-camera celebrity gotchas when it re-launches next month with a whole new look and feel. The prank show from mastermind/ executive producer Ashton Kutcher, which originally aired from 2003 to 2007, will hit the air at 10 p.m. ET on March 29 as part of a new hour-long block of original programming that will also include a “Jersey Shore” spin-off show entitled, “The Pauly D Project.” Check out the 15 most memorable moments from the original “Punk'd” show here. While Kutcher enjoyed taking down his pals and unsuspecting celebrities last time, the 2.0 version of “Punk'd” will feature a rotating cast of celebrity hosts each week. Among those lined up to fill the “Two and a Half Men” star's shoes are: Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Hayden Panettiere, Bam Margera and “Punk'd” alum Dax Shepard, among others. They will prank their fellow Hollywood pals, including Khloé Kardashian Odom, “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey, Demi Lovato and many more. Not only will the celebrity hosts take the punking to a new and unnecessarily complex level, but for the first time in series history, viewers will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at what it takes to pull off these elaborate pranks. During its initial run, “Punk'd” pulled some all-time classic gags on such unsuspecting targets, one of which occurred in the series premiere, when a then-22-year-old Justin Timberlake broke down in tears when he thought government agents were seizing his home because of $900,000 in unpaid taxes. Other classic bits included one in which Beyoncé is tricked into believing that she caused a giant Christmas tree to topple over on some presents intended for a group of underprivileged children, ruining their holiday. Miley Cyrus Defends Gay Rights Tattoo

Cyrus tweeted a photo of her equal-sign tattoo over the weekend, prompting debate among fans regarding gay rights. By Jocelyn Vena Miley Cyrus’ new equal rights tattoo Photo: Miley Cyrus’ Twitter Miley Cyrus has never shied away from speaking her mind, and over the weekend she posted a photo of her latest body ink on Twitter : an equal-sign tattoo on her ring finger. In addition to sharing with the world her pro-gay rights stance via tat, she tweeted the message, “All LOVE is equal.” However, the photo quickly prompted a debate on her Twitter account when fans began to respond to Miley’s tattoo with mixed feelings. “Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t,” Miley tweeted to one fan who questioned her belief in God after displaying her support of the gay community. “GOD is the only judge honey. GOD is love.” But when her fans began attacking the fan who questioned her, Miley defended her for sharing her opinion with the world. “Dude everyone lay off … Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! If u don’t stand 4 something you’ll fall for anything.” Her Twitter profile shares a similar message: “Let your light shine. Be a source of strength & courage. Share your wisdom. RADIATE LOVE.” This isn’t the first time that Miley’s sharing her beliefs on Twitter has sparked debate. In a Parade magazine interview in March 2010, Cyrus said that one of the reasons she had quit Twitter for a time was that she was getting angry tweets from fans who didn’t agree with her support of gay marriage. She returned to Twitter earlier this year. “There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I’ve said or done because I believe there are no mistakes, because God is the only one who can judge us,” Cyrus explained. “That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person.” What do you think of Miley’s outspoken support of marriage equality and gay rights?
