But, if they are, she’s really happy for them. “The Taylors? Oh, I don’t know. I’m not into the drama. I have no idea,” she told Chicago’s B96 morning show during a tour stop earlier this week, where she also talked about her recent departure from Twitter . “But I’ve known Taylor [Lautner] since I was really young.” Cyrus, who starred in the “Hannah Montana” movie alongside Swift earlier this year, shared that she was once also cast in a flick with Lautner. “When he did ‘[The Adventures of] Sharkboy and Lavagirl,’ it was between me and somebody else, and then I ended up doing ‘Hannah Montana,’ so I’ve known him for, like, a really long time,” she said, adding that she fully approves of the couple — if they are dating. “I mean, if he’s happy and if she’s happy, sounds good to me.” Taylor Swift recently played coy during interviews when asked about her rumored romance with the “Twilight” star and her “Valentine’s Day” co-star. “I don’t know, he’s an amazing guy and we’re really close … and ah … yep,” she told CMT Radio Live’s Cody Alan in an interview, before later in the day giggling with Ellen DeGeneres when asked about Lautner . “We’re in a movie together, and I am really excited about seeing it.” Related Videos Oh Snap! She cited her desire to regain her privacy as the main reason behind the decision, even as rumors spread that she left for her rumored beau and “The Last Song” co-star Liam Hemsworth . And after nearly a month Twitter-free, she’s hoping that more people will jump the micro-blogging boat. “I think that everyone should leave Twitter,” she told Chicago’s B96 morning show during her tour stop in Chi-Town earlier this week. “I think Twitter should just be banned from this universe.” Cyrus maintains that the Internet is a dangerous place.” ‘Cause honestly, people, want to know why? At the premiere of “Heart of the Desert,” a movie starring Samantha’s on-again/off-again boyfriend Smith (Jason Lewis), the two ladies show up on the red carpet wearing the same sparkly gown. It confirmed the longstanding rumors that the “Hannah Montana” star, who has been open about her love for the TV show and movie, was tapped to make a cameo in the movie. Despite the paparazzi shots that exist of the young actress on set with Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis couldn’t share too many spoilers about Miley’s part in the flick. “I was not [on set that day],” she said. “I love Miley. If Miley loves us, I’m thrilled. I heard it’s true. ” She was also apprehensive to talk about the rumors that Oscar-winning actress Pen?lope Cruz will be chilling with Charlotte, Carrie, Samantha and Miranda in the sequel. “I think Pen?lope Cruz is a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant actress. Miley Cyrus Says ‘I Don’t Really Miss’ Twitter

The singer, who quit the site earlier this month , said that she’s much happier now that she’s not focused on sharing every minute detail of her life with the world. “I really haven’t missed it,” the singer said on 104.7 FM’s Johnjay and Rich Show in Arizona Tuesday, US Weekly reported . “I thought I was going to miss it a lot more than I do, but I haven’t even really looked at other people’s, which is really weird. I don’t really miss it. It’s kind of odd.” Despite earlier reports that she left Twitter at the request of her rumored beau and “The Last Song” co-star, Liam Hemsworth, she says she decided to leave when she realized how much it was affecting the way she lived her life. “It was 3:30 or 4 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep,” she explained. “[I thought], ‘Maybe I could sleep if I wasn’t so friggin’ busy twittering about not being able to sleep.’ ” Her last tweet read: “FYI Liam doesn’t have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason,” but since then the “Hannah Montana” star has not only gone on the radio to explain her reasons for leaving, but also released a statement and a rap song about it days after she left. In the statement, she said, “Rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my Twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. Cyrus was seen on the set on October 16, filming a scene in which she wears the same dress on a red carpet as Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha Jones. According to reports that surfaced in September about the cameo, Samantha chooses the dress for the event in order to look “hot and young.” Miley Cyrus On The Set Of ‘SATC 2′ In the scene, Cattrall and Cyrus, who plays herself, are wearing the sparkly strapless gold dress paired with tan knee-high boots. Miley accessorizes her dress with a spiked necklace, while Jones pairs hers with a big topaz asymmetrical choker. According to Us Weekly, the characters are attending the premiere of “Heart of the Desert,” the latest film starring Smith (Jason Lewis), Samantha’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York. Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth were also spotted on the set that day. Cyrus reportedly won’t have any lines in the film, but that has yet to be confirmed. During the scene, the outspoken Anthony (Mario Cantone) reportedly responds with, “Mother of God. She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.” The film is set to hit theaters in May 2010; Pen?lope Cruz and Liza Minnelli also have reported cameos in the flick. Unlike the rest of America — or, say, the 99.8 percent that isn’t famous — he could sort of understand why she did it. “I think she’s smart enough to realize there is some interference of the brain that she doesn’t want to deal with. Artists have enough to deal with,” Mayer told MTV News. “She’s a child, she’s a fantastic artist — I think there’s enough mental real estate being taken up by dealing with all of that stuff. … For whatever reason, I am old enough and smart enough to tell someone to go f— themselves if they tell me to go f— myself. I think if you’re in Miley’s situation, it might take a little too much time to play goalie for your own heart and mind. So I totally get it.” Mayer, a Twitter titan in his own right, said that he shared Cyrus’s frustrations with the site and the nascent negativity it breeds. In addition to saying that her rumored boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, had nothing to do with her departure from the site, where she readily wrote about the most mundane activities in her life, she said she now wants to keep her private life private. In a statement on Mileyworld.com (via Perezhilton.com ), Cyrus said that she needs to step away from Twitter so that she can separate her personal and professional lives and distance herself from the “negativity” the Internet makes “so available.” “You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter,” she wrote, addressing her fans. “It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered ‘working.’ But in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a ‘normal’ life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault.
